Class Description:

In this 3-hour class you will be taken through the steps to build your own sterling silver hand stamped and engraved earrings! Nevada Miller, a silversmith, entrepreneur, and teacher from southeastern Oregon will give you foundational knowledge in silversmithing that can be added to as the interest arises.  You will learn aspects of silversmithing such as sawing, filing, stamping and shaping your earrings. Then to add a little extra each student will get to sit down and try their hand at engraving and add some detail work to their piece. The earrings are solid sterling silver with a half drop flower shape with a lot of movement that comes from a separate flower center. All basic steps, but you'll leave with a gorgeous item to show off!   

Materials to Bring: Students can show up empty-handed but ready to learn as all supplies needed will be provided.
