Class description:

We often hear that someone got started in leatherwork when gifted some sort of leather beginner kit when they were younger. And that start in the love of leatherworking is important for the future of the art.

Tandy Leather is sponsoring a FREE kid’s leather learning class, taught by Sheryl Katzke. Sheryl’s love for the craft began over 20 years ago and since that time she has spent countless hours teaching others her love of all things leather.

In this class, kids will be able to learn a little bit about leather and basic stamping techniques. Each child will be provided with a Tandy Leather beginner kit which includes multiple leather projects and tools. We hope this experience will foster a lifetime love of creating in the leather shop!
